I'm sad that this past weekend was my last CSA pic I'm sad that this past weekend was my last CSA pick up for the season. But I had a great summer of fresh local produce, grains, eggs, cheese, and fresh-baked bread. This is the final recipe that uses only items from this year's CSA.

Dinner this week embraced the season by using zucchini and honeynut squash to make a tart that is perfect for Brunch, Dinner, or Holiday Entertaining. Honeynut squash is a sweeter version of Butternut squash and cooked the same way. I can't wait to make this tart for friends.

Happy PieDay! Fridays in November are officially Happy PieDay!

Fridays in November are officially made for Pie! I'll be going through different types of pie and tarts throughout the month of November. I start with the classic of Pumpkin Pie but this is not your Momma's Pumpkin Pie. It's spiced with Cardamon, cinnamon, and all the fun spices, topped with Bourbon Brown Sugar Whipped Cream. Pumpkin Pie doesn't have to be standard and boring.
